Mission One - Phoenix’s Hottest Spots

There are a variety of words that people use to describe the Phoenix-metro area, most of which begin with ‘hot’, but for those of us that live here, ‘community’ comes up time and time again. We are creating a mural that will celebrate ten places that we feel are bright spots in this community.

FREE SHOW at the CROFOOT

For the second mission, we’re setting up a FREE show with some amazing artists at The Crofoot Ballroom in Pontiac, Michigan.

The Surf’s Up for Mission 3!

For this mission, Team Dallas is working with Roxy and the Fiesta Movement to bring a feeling of the beach to our lovely landlocked Dallas, Texas! The surf’s up at White Rock Lake, in Deep Ellum and at the Dallas Arts District. Plus, we’ll be hanging ten for our mission at awesome places across the city, and where we go is all up to you!

We have been tasked with choosing ten places that are unique to Denver and highlight locations that you should check out. Using these ten places we’ll create a map that will be up made into a mural so you know where to go.

TheDailyCity.com Mobile Art Show: Parking Space Takeover Featuring the Ford Fiesta

Downtown Orlando is getting a brand new public park… for two hours. On May 20, 2010, 7-9pm, TheDailyCity.com Mobile Art Show is taking over one parking space adjacent to City Arts Factory in downtown Orlando as part of “Third Thursdays,” and turning it into a parking-space-size park with astro turf, lawn chairs and tables. The event is free and the public is welcome to have a seat, chat and take pictures and hav a mini downtown respite in the tiny park.

Mission Three - Phoenix Gots Style

We are taking the inspiration we have received from our months with the Fiesta as well as our previous missions to design a series of products for for the clothing company Roxy.

Choose ten locations in Los Angeles that world should know about. Then create a design for a mural that will be placed in Los Angeles highlighting the locations so people seeing the mural can visit the locations.

Jon & Jory have designed some sweet new apparel for Roxy - and are unveiling their sexy new design concepts in a special live show on Sunday, May 30th.

End of Mission One Blowout

To close out the first mission, we’re throwing a sweet party at the Cass Cafe with live music, drinks, food, and more.

Dallas’ Ten Best Hidden Gems

Our first mission is to highlight the 10 best hidden spots in Dallas! We’re working with some of the best artists in the city to create a mural and end the project with a huge party.
