Team Denver’s third mission had us creating a design for the Roxy Clothing line.  So we thought, for our online party, why let you follow Team Denver around for a couple of days and see some of the stuff we get into.  Sunday, May 23rd we will kick things off at Hades bar and grill and go through to Monday. Our first mission is to highlight the 10 best hidden spots in Dallas! We’re working with some of the best artists in the city to create a mural and end the project with a huge party.

Ford Fiesta’s Team SOTA is collaborating with Roxy to design some apparel. We have a t-shirt, hat, tote bag scheme that represents the energy and vivacity of Roxy and the calm, cool of Seattle/SOTA…The SeaCal vibe is epitomized in this collection of designer wear for young women around the world.

Free Rock Concert: “Aloud” & “Mild Revolution”

Local YouTube celebrities are holding a free concert May 3rd at Chruch in Allston. Monday, May 3rd at 7:30pm - local groups “Aloud”, and “Mild Revolution” will be playing a 3-hour show - free of charge… with an open bar too! Internet big-shots Jory Caron and Jonathan Paula have teamed up with the Ford Fiesta Movement to help promote these local bands, and Ford’s newest car, the 2011 Fiesta. Make sure to “RSVP” for the event for a chance to win $200 cash! “Aloud” & “Mild Revolution”, playing a free show - this Monday, May 3rd at Church in Allston… be there!

Lombriz- (noun) Vulgar or common Spanish term for worm.

Gusano- (noun) Proper Spanish term for worm. Also used as a slur against Cubans who fled the island after the communist revolution in 1959.

Lombries- (noun) Colloquial term given to hosts infected with the parasitic, mind-controlling worms in the outbreak of 2011. The term is specific to the Miami region, blending “Lombriz” with the term “Zombies,” even though hosts are not zombies nor undead.
