Painting The Town

Jon & Jory will be selecting their top-10 favorite Boston locations, and highlighting them in an exciting new graffiti mural (designed by AFP co-star Ryan Lewis) to be unveiled at an exciting live party event this April!

Choose ten locations in Los Angeles that world should know about. Then create a design for a mural that will be placed in Los Angeles highlighting the locations so people seeing the mural can visit the locations.

For the second mission, we’re setting up a FREE show with some amazing artists at The Crofoot Ballroom in Pontiac, Michigan.

LOMBRIES FILM - MISSION 4 - WATCH HERE

Lombriz- (noun) Vulgar or common Spanish term for worm.

Gusano- (noun) Proper Spanish term for worm. Also used as a slur against Cubans who fled the island after the communist revolution in 1959.

Lombries- (noun) Colloquial term given to hosts infected with the parasitic, mind-controlling worms in the outbreak of 2011. The term is specific to the Miami region, blending “Lombriz” with the term “Zombies,” even though hosts are not zombies nor undead.

Movement & Motion: One Night Art Show @ Brave New Worlds

We’d like to announce the event for Mission 3 of Philadelphia’s Fiesta Movement! This one will be a low-key, one-night-only art show in the lobby of Brave New Worlds on Friday, May 21st.

Mission #1 - Chicago Top 10 Mural

Team John Aaron is gonna scour our collective people and unearth a brilliant muralist to depict 10 spots you gotta check out in Chicago. Keep your eyes open for someone drawing on the side of the building.  It may just be our doing.
Once the mural is finished we are gonna put on a crazy great party to cap off our first mission!

To help us win this mission,

For this mission, Team Dallas is working with Roxy and the Fiesta Movement to bring a feeling of the beach to our lovely landlocked Dallas, Texas! The surf’s up at White Rock Lake, in Deep Ellum and at the Dallas Arts District. Plus, we’ll be hanging ten for our mission at awesome places across the city, and where we go is all up to you!
