HAVING HEART means being determined and focused. It doesn't mean you always win. It means that DOING YOUR THING is reward enough. Our challenge was to collaborate with someone sponsored by Roxy.com and come up with some apparel designs having to do with "having heart." We thought this would be a great opportunity to once again work with our friends at Mighty Writers to see if we could pull a team together to come up with some ideas. To make things more interesting we had the opportunity to bring Pro Surfer Jennifer Smith into the mix. Who know's what will transpire. Keep following us to track our progress.

In a nutshell I’m a professional middleman who works in the field of creative marketing. I’ve been running Lime Projects for over 5 years. Before that I worked as a Content Manager at Insound.com, and also as a Theatrical Marketing Specialist for Plexifilm. I love to adventure around Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. I ride horses. We do lots of Sunday driving and explore the world. We like garage sales and open houses, restaurants that look like they FIT IN to a particular place. I don’t go to bars often, but my sweetheart does; I stay home and do logic puzzles, bathe and play with the cats.
We do a lot project based work with arts and culture organizations in Philly, which is tons of fun. This past summer I started a project called Kidzillions, an online allowance and chore rewards platform for kids.
I have driven across the country 13 times and most of those have been alone (I’m from the West Coast but went to school on the East Coast). Driving is my FAVORITE way to get there and I’ve been on some fun adventures because I’ll talk with the locals.

Having heart means being 8 years old and going to the park with friends to run around as fast as you can and then coming back inside to tell the 35 year olds that you just met that you have a lot of energy…

I’m so happy to see kids getting into writing. It’s such a vital skill. It will make all of the difference in their futures. I feel inspired by this.
