Team SD collaborates with Roxy Team Rider Kassia Meador, and Cuban-born illustrator Juan Marante (aka "Tocayo")

For Mission #3 of the Fiesta Movement, teams were tasked with creating a collaborative apparel design, melding the Fiesta brand with Quiksilver's ROXY brand.  Since Team SD is located all of 30 miles from the Mexico border, we decided Baja, California would serve as proper inspiration for our design.  Over breakfast in Encinitas, Juan and Kassia discussed what Baja means to a Californian surfer.  Pointbreaks, tacos, campfires, cervesas, mariachis and pristine coastlines all served as inspiration for Tocayo's design.  Needless to say, he knocked it out of the park..!  Team SD presents to you Fiesta + Roxy + Tocayo.

To celebrate this recent collaboration, we've secured the back patio of Super El Camino in Little Italy, San Diego for a FIESTA of our own.  From 7-10pm on Monday, May 24th we'll be throwing back pacificos and screen printing Tocayo's latest work.  El Camino is providing FREE FOOD from 7-8pm, but you need to RSVP below to get in before 8pm.  If you're interested in printing a shirt or tote bag, bring a $20 spot, or your own light colored shirt from home and a crisp $5 dollar bill.  RSVP +3 Below and bring your friends!  See you Monday night.
