Mission #1: Graffiti Treasure Map (Mar 01, 2010 - Mar 22, 2010)
San Francisco is only 7x7 miles, but it’s packed with fun, unusual experiences.
And we're on a mission to showcase them.
The Mission: As part of the first mission, Ford asked us to work with a local artist to highlight a few of our favorite local businesses. We wanted to inject some fun into the contest and decided to create a real-life treasure map to highlight a few of our city’s secret gems!
The Execution: Over the course of the last four weeks, we worked with the ten business and three local graffiti artists to install the final artwork at Mission and 26th Street in San Francisco. The artwork took about a day and a half, only slightly delayed by all the curious passer-bys. :)
The Party!: No treasure map adventure is complete without a good ol' pirate celebration with plenty of rum and ruckus! Bring yar friends to the infamous Bootie mash-up dance party on Saturday, April 10th to meet our artists and favorite local businesses.
